I’ve just started this one. Take a break from cybershace with this entertaining and witty journey through ‘real’ space. Death by Black Hole: And Other Cosmic Quandries is fabulously entertaining (if you like this sort of thing, which I do). I find myself chuckling, but then realize I can’t share these little gems with most folks without getting a raised eyebrow or a glossy-eyed stare.

It says 576 pages, although it feels more like 57,600. This book is filled with EVERYTHING you could ever want to know about wireless, and probably several things you really could do without. The first chapter starts right at the beginning, with a wonderful dive into wave propogation.

CISSP Prep- a nice short & sweet overview of Cryptography (about 150 pages). Perfect refresher if you’re planning to take your CISSP exam. I just really like cryptography, so that’s how I ended up with it.
